Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) executed in Depkominfo, Jl Merdeka Barat No 9 Jakarta at Wednesday 2^nd July 2008.

The coordination meeting was attended by Balitbang SDM Secretary along with four Heads of Balitbang SDM Depkominfo, Head of Planning Bureau Depkominfo, two deputies of Bappenas, three deputies of JICA and one delegation from Japan Embassy, deputies of the four local government (East Kalimantan Province, South Minahasa Agency, Magelang Municipality, and Solok Municipality), and some representatives of ELGHD. The event was opened by Chief of Central PMU, and then greeting by deputy of JICA and be continued by ELGHD Elder / Head Of Balitbang SDM Depkominfo, Aizirman Djusan. 

Deputy of JICA, Nagami Kozo, said that this project have been started since 2007 to formulate program and choose local government would be supported. ELGHD will support local government, not physically, but help to achieve a good e-local government implementation. ELGHD Elder / Head of Balitbang SDM Depkominfo explained the reason to choose the 4 Local Governments as a pilot project. He expected this program will be success and can be a role model for e-local government implementation in other region in Indonesia. Aizirman Djusan also said that strong commitment has showed by these local governments when conducted workshop. 

At JCC, activities during last three months and next activities of ELGHD in four local governments which start at August 2008 to March 2009 is represented by Hadwi Soendjojo (Team Expert ELGHD). Besides presentation about ELGHD, each local government also represented about preview and obstacles of ELGHD activities in each Local Government during 3 last month. Those presentations were submitted by Mr. Catur from Magelang Municipality, Mr. Muhammad from Solok Municipality, Mr. Alwi Gasim from East Kalimantan Province, and Mr. Asmawa AP from South Minahasa Agency. After the presentation, JCC is continued with discussion among 4 local government, Depkominfo and Bappenas. (hso)
