As a purpose of workshop masterpiece, besides socializing information technology exploitation and the importance of improvement of SDM in supporting development of e-local government in local government of area, also knowing how far the four local governments ready to develop e-local government and existence of ELGHD in assisting e-local government development.

Workshop in East Kalimantan Province

On 21^st and 22^nd Mays 2008, East Kalimantan Province in this case Regional Promotion and Investment Agency (BPID) East Kalimantan Province carried out workshop in the form of Technical Coordination Meeting (Rakortek) cooperating with ELGHD. It was attended by around 43 participants from SKPD province/ Regency /City, IT community, and ICT Council of East Kalimantan Province. The event was opened by Head of BPID East Kalimantan Province, Mr. H. Ichwansyah, that previous greeting had read a letter written by Governor East Kalimantan Province. 

At the event, Some materials were submitted. Those were "Development of Area Based on IT in East Kalimantan Province" by Head of BPID East Kalimantan Province, "Office Management Based on ICT" by Hadwi Soendjojo ( Team Expert ELGHD), "Builds System & Information Technology in Goverment" by Hadi Susilo (Team Expert ELGHD), "Development of SDM for Subvention of Office Management Based on ICT" by Indriyatno Banyumurti (Team Expert ELHGD), "Development of e-Government in East Kalimantan Province Resistant " by ICT Council of East Kalimantan Province. The second day were group discussion with two topics, Development of Human Resource and Hardware/Software.
