Page 1 of 4 Now, many local governments that still not able to implement e-local government well and planned. This happened because reference for local government to develop e-local government is not exist
There are two main activities in e-local government development. They are information system development and information technology development. Both activities are implemented through a continual and systematic process. Based on observation in field, there are some problems faced by local government office to build and develop e-local government, they are: - Availability of human resource who capable to build and develop e-local government;
- Availability of data communication network in the form of Local Area Network (LAN) that connects local government office/agency/bureau;
- Availability of information system application which integrated between local government office/agency/bureau;
- Office management system and job culture being based on information technology that has not formed.
